Beating Traffic Cameras

In the past I have written of my dislike of traffic cameras. Especially the ones at intersections, typically known as "Red Light Cameras!" In checking online today I discovered that I am definitely NOT the only one who sees cities who use these cameras as a bunch of money grubbing officials.

If you'll take a few minutes to read the article from the link below, you will see that the people who profit the MOST is the company that actually owns and operates them... The larger portion of the receipts go to the operators! We, who get caught by these cameras, are simply left with a lot less cash to fund our grocery purchases, make our mortgage payments and buy that overpriced gasoline to fuel our vehicles.

What to do? My recommendation is to BE AWARE of ALL the Red Light Cameras in YOUR locale. Then, with the knowledge of their location, DO NOT do anything stupid that would get your license plate photographed!
